I am a new buyer, how do I register for the show?

Buyers can register by clicking here. Once you’re on the attend the show page, scroll down to the new buyers section and select the buyer pre-registration box. You must have one credential from the business identification section, one credential from the employment identification section and a photo ID. You will need to bring your credentials with you to the show and check in at Buyer Registration upon arrival. Buyer registration is located on the first floor of the Merchandise Mart.

I am a returning buyer, how do I register for the show?

If you have attended the show within the past two years, there is no registration process. You will automatically receive your badge via email 2-3 weeks prior to the show. Each buyer must have a unique email as we are only able to send one badge per email address. If you haven’t received a badge, you can still have it printed at buyer registration when you arrive or please contact Kelli at If you have not attended the show within the past two years, please see the above section to re-register as a new buyer.

How do I register a guest?

There is no registration process for guests. Each buyer is allowed two guests free of charge. You can get guest badges at buyer registration when you arrive at the show. The guest will just need a photo ID.

I am not a buyer, can I attend the show?

Unfortunately, our show is only open to credentialed buyers and exhibitors who have a booth at the show. We do not allow the general public or non-retailers on the show floor. For information on exhibiting at Chicago Collective, please contact Danielle Owen at  

I’m thinking about or am in the process of opening a retail store, can I still attend the show?

Unfortunately, our show is only open to retailers that have the required credentials and have a retail store/website. Please obtain all proper documentation before attending the show. 

How do I receive my buyer hotel reimbursement?

As a buyer at Chicago Collective, you are eligible to receive $50 back per night for up to 3 nights (Saturday, Sunday and Monday ONLY), for up to $150 total. You must book your hotel through onPeak, our official travel partner, on our website or by calling 800-528-8700. Once at the show, you must fill out the buyer reimbursement form in the show office and then we will mail you a check following the show. You are not eligible for the reimbursement if you do not book your hotel through onPeak or if you do not fill out the form during the show. 


Do I need to make appointments for the show?

We are an appointment driven show so making appointments beforehand is recommended, but you are able to walk into booths at the show, as well. 

Will the same brands be there all three days?

Yes, all of our vendors are committed to attend the show all three days.

What brands will be at Chicago Collective?

You can find a full brand listing by clicking on the brands tab and selecting Chicago Collective from the drop down menu.


How do I book a hotel room for the show?

You can book a hotel room by clicking here. These are our recommended hotels that we’ve negotiated special prices with for Chicago Collective attendees. Your hotel must be booked through onPeak, our official travel partner, to receive these rates. All hotels are within walking distance of the Mart.

Where should I park?

For information on parking, please click here. We offer discounted parking for buyers only at the MartParc Wells and MartParc Orleans garages for $14 per day. You can get your parking ticket validated at buyer registration. This is valid from 8am – 8pm only and does not include overnight parking.  


Are there wheel chairs or motorized scooters available at the show?

Yes, manual wheel chairs can be requested at no charge by calling 312.527.7700. Manual wheel chairs should be reserved in advance to guarantee availability. Motorized scooters can be rented here or by calling 773-278-1440. The rental fee starts at $35/ day.
